Here are 6 practical ways to normalize your blood pressure.
1. Veggies! There are numerous nutrients that lower blood pressure. Fortunately, most vegetables contain these nutrients. Instead of buying bottle after bottle of various vitamins and nutrients, aim for 4 to 5 servings of vegetables a day. The fiber in vegetables will also help, which I will discuss next.
2. Fiber is Fine! Fiber is especially important to hypertension sufferers. Fiber cleanses or flushes the body of many things and will also normalize your score. Find foods that contain high fiber such as whole grains. I highly recommend the water-soluble fiber foods to my customers.
3. Bananas! Potassium is a great element which actually reduces blood pressure. I suggest eating bananas because they are high in fiber and in potassium. This 'two birds with one stone' fruit will also reduce your score.
4. Oats! Even Cheerios is backing natural health. Did you know that whole grains and especially oats are extremely effective for reducing hypertension? Switch your breads to wheat with 4 grams of fiber per serving. Eat a bowl of Cheerios a couple times a week. Always go whole grain!
5. Wonderful Water! Drinking water cleans out any waste that's accumulated in the body. Drinking water will help flush out sodium in addition to other waste products in the body. Drinking lots of water will also help you feel more full, which is helpful for losing weight. There are thousands of benefits of water and lowering high blood pressure is one of them. Go for at least 8 glasses a day.
6. Vitamins! What vitamins are you taking! Here is one that could be important. A 500-milligram supplement of vitamin C was found to reduce blood pressure by about nine percent. That would be a good place to start.
